Parks Victoria are now preparing the toboggan runs and cross country ski trails for the forthcoming snow season. Close of Kayak Hire

The Camping ground at Lake Catani is now closed so we have also closed our kayak hire for the winter. We will have the hire available again from the Melbourne Cup long weekend next spring.

From $1400 for your group for a full days adventure (For four persons)

This is the ultimate MUST DO adventure at Mount Buffalo

NORTH WALL EXPEDITION ABSEIL ADVENTURE AT MT BUFFALO
The North Wall 300 metre abseil adventure is an icon adventure at Mt Buffalo National park. There are four pitches on the descent. The first is 160 Metres and the remainder from 40 to 50 metres using a twin rope pull down system.

We commence the adventure with a briefing and rigging at the Mt Buffalo Chalet then walk to the descent point at the top of the North Wall. On completion of the abseils we have lunch at crystal brook at the base of the wall (might be able to see climbers on one of the famous multi-day rock climbs)

Then its a mountaineering trip to the top of the Gorge again either up the South Wall or via the climbers cairn trail to the top. In all from 6 to 9 hours!

YOU WILL NEED
    Clothing appropriate to the weather conditions (we recommend loose long trousers)
    In Colder weather you may need thermal underwear, polar fleece clothing etc.
    Note that short tops that allow skin to show at waist or which are sleeveless are not acceptable and that Polo Shirts or similar that can be tucked in to trousers are recommended (Rope burns can result from wearing unsuitable tops)
    Stout Walking Boots or shoes(Rubber soled boots or runners can be used by beginners)
    A Cap
    Sunscreen
    Personal medication as required (such as asthma puffers)
    Lunch
    Water and energy snacks

PRICES
ONE DAY ADVENTURE
Our prices for the North Wall adventure for 2011/12 are:
Up to four persons a minimum fee of $1400.00
Five persons plus from $330 pp

TWO DAY ADVENTURE (with abseiling on single pitch abseiling sites to 45 metre's on day one)
Up to four persons a minimum fee of $2000.00
Five persons plus from $580.00 per person.

We supply industry standard helmets, harnesses and other safety equipment
