SNOW SEASON 2013

Parks Victoria are now preparing the toboggan runs and cross country ski trails for the forthcoming snow season. Close of Kayak Hire

The Camping ground at Lake Catani is now closed so we have also closed our kayak hire for the winter. We will have the hire available again from the Melbourne Cup long weekend next spring.

As the weather is getting colder early this year we will not be running advertised abseil or cave adventures again until November but you can still book a private abseil or cave adventure for YOUR GROUP - minimum fees apply

PARTICIPANT INFORMATION

ROCK CLIMBING

From $770 for your group for a full days adventure or as advertised in our Holiday programs ($88pp for half day advertised adventures)

Both advertised and by arrangement rock climbing adventures and tuition are available.

BEGINNERS CLIMBING

Join one of our experience leaders for a full days introduction to Rock Climbing on the Catani Slabs and at other locations as suitable.

COST
Private Climbing is normally a full day with a minimum fee for a guide of $770.00 for the day (up to 4 participants)

WEATHER
We can only conduct rock climbing during fine weather. January to April are best

MEET
We will meet at the Mt Buffalo camping ground Car-park (Near the stone picnic hut and notice board) for advertised activities or as arranged for groups.

SUITABILITY
This adventure is suitable for people with a moderate level of fitness and a sense of Adventure!

YOU NEED
Clothing appropriate to the weather conditions (we recommend loose long trousers)
Note that short tops that allow skin to show at waist or are sleeveless are not acceptable and that Polo Shirts or similar that can be tucked in to trousers are recommended (Rope burns can result from wearing unsuitable tops)
Rubber soled boots or runners
A Cap or Hat
Sunscreen
Personal medication as required (such as asthma puffers)
Water and energy snacks
 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
You will need to bring your own meals and other snacks as suitable for the duration of the adventure

EQUIPMENT
We supply industry standard helmets, harnesses, ropes and other safety equipment.
