OVERVIEW
 Adventure Guides Australia can facilitate a range of adventures at Mount Buffalo National Park for School Groups. We are fully licensed by Parks Victoria and hold specific to activity Insurance as required by the Victorian Government.

CONDUCT
Activities are conducted to the Victorian Adventure Activity Standards (AAS) as required by DSE/Parks Victoria. See www.orc.org.au to view these standards.

ACTIVITY COSTS
The fees shown below are for activities only, assistance with camping, food or transport will be additional. Government licensed operator land use fees are included but Park Entry must be paid separately by the school at the National Park Entry station (From $60 per large bus per day).

All safety and activity equipment is provided except where shown (as with Ski activities)

NOTE that single days are dearer than multiple days.
Single day Costs from $99 to $120.00 per student per activity day (Minimum fee for 10)
o    Can be a single activity (Rock climbing or abseiling etc) or two activity blocks per day (abseiling and caving for instance)

Multi Day activity block costs (Two to three days)  From $99.00 per student activity day (Minimum fee for 10)
o    This can be the same student group or we can negotiate for having different groups of students participate over the time block.
o    Part days may have to be charged as full days to allow proper payment of staff wages etc.

Four to Five days activity block costs (from $88.00 per student activity day (minimum fee for 10) 

Bushwalking - guide provided only  from $550.00 per guide per day

Winter Cross country ski school tuition and tour  from $55 per student per day (Minimum fee for 15).
o    Not including ski and clothing hire (Available at Myrtleford or Porepunkah at the base of Mount Buffalo)
o    Two groups in a day from $33 per student per each half day

Winter Snow shoe treks and Flora and Fauna snowshoe walks  From $66 per student per day (Minimum fee for 10)
o    Two groups in a day  from $38.00 per student per half day
o    Note that we provide the snow shoes

ADVENTURES INCLUDE
Spring to autumn adventures available at Mount Buffalo include:
Abseiling
o    10 to 45 metres on the Gorge Rim
       Half or Full days
o    250 Metre Multi Pitch abseil adventures
       Full day
o    300 Metre Multi Pitch abseil expeditions
       Long Full day

Burstons Crevasse Adventure
o    A multi activity adventure that  can include scrambling, rock climbing, abseiling, small caves, steel wire ladder climbs etc.
       A full day adventure with practice abseils prior or a long half day activity.

Underground River cave Expedition
o    A wet granite boulder infill cave with squeezes, scrambles, waterfalls and glow worms in the warmer months.
       Half day adventure

Rock Climbing
o    Beginners top belayed climbing
      Half day adventure
o    Teaching intermediate climbing on granite

Cathedral Rock Climb
o    An achievable multi pitch rock climb to  the top of one of Mount Buffalo’s most prominent pinnacles and then abseil back down off of the top.
      A Full day adventure with some lead in climbs prior to the ascent

Kayaking at lake Catani
o    We have two person kayaks and single sit on tops available
       Normally half day activities

Bike riding
o    Hard top and Dirt road / management tracks
      Half or full days

Bushwalking
o    Half or full days

Camping

Team games and activities

Interpretative activities

OUR winter activities include:
Cross county skiing
Snow show activities
Winter Abseiling
Burstons Crevasse
Winter Flora and Fauna Interpretative activities

Also available at Mount Buffalo (Run by Parks Victoria)
Tobogganing
Tube park rides

OTHER REGIONAL ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE
Gold panning at Bright, Harrietville and Beechworth
Hikes to Mount Feathertop and other peaks
Abseiling and Rock climbing at Beechworth
Cross Country Ski and snow activities in the Alpine National Park at Mt Hotham and Falls Creek
Kayaking at Beechworth and in the Ovens, King and other local rivers.
