We can conduct abseiling in any conditions so bring warm clothes (thermal Underwear and Fleece) and wet weather gear during winter or months or when the weather is changeable (It can be cold and wet in the Alps even in summer). We will operate in the snow or rain, so bring wet weather gear! In hot weather bring sunscreen, caps and cool clothing.

MEET

We meet at the Mt Buffalo Gorge Car-park Near the stone hut at the lower end of the car-park at the time arranged:
At advertised time for Weekend and Holiday Adventures
As per arrangements for private groups

THE ADVENTURE
We first have a practice abseil or two from the 25 Metre beginners abseil site near the stone hut in the visitors car park. This abseil has some interesting challenges but is very achievable.

The abseil sites are close to the Mt Buffalo Gorge Visitors car park and also the toilets and other facilities (The Visitors Car park is just opposite the Mt Buffalo Chalet).

Then we rig the first pitch of the South Wall Abseil and abseil down into the gorge - there are three pitches involved - then a hike back up to the top of the gorge (about 40 minutes) perhaps through the snow if we are lucky
